Scherbak Ship Models expertly builds miniature ship replicas for individual collectors, cruise and shipping companies, travel agencies and any interested organizations.

We started our business in 2003, but it is based on long-time maritime and ship modeling traditions of Scherbak family. We are proud of our models that can be seen today all around the World - in private collections, shipping companies, offices of travel and ship agents, maritime organizations and seaside restaurants.

We research the best traditions and methods of ship-modeling from the time of Bassett Lowke, Van Ryper, Richard Wagner and other great modeling shops of the past and develop our own style in this field of Nautical Art.

Our quality models of CRUISE SHIPS, OCEAN LINERS, WARSHIPS are not a flooding market massive production lines, but rare and limited editions of labor intense and complex models in very small batches, usually 5-20 units, resulting in each model being next to unique.

Our product involves deep expertise in the subject, modern design technology, meticulous craftsmanship and high grade materials. All these costly ingredients are incorporated in affordable high-value product.

We offer special prices on quantity orders for shipbuilders, ship owners, cruise companies, shipping companies and retailers.

Interesting news and facts about our company and models:

 

- From mid-2014 we no longer contract factories in the Orient for production purposes.

Now our models are cast in USA and assembled/finished in USA  or Europe.

As always we design our models in USA and Canada.

All stages of model development and production are executed to the highest quality standards by knowledgeable and passionate marine artists.

 

-2014 - Scherbak Ship Models became official supplier for Princess Cruises. We built 180 models of the Diamond Princess in scale 1:1250 after her 2014 refit.  Also 240 of Sapphire Princess models were  delivered during 2014. These models are newly redesigned and show the difference between two sister ships.

 

- 2013 - 10 years anniversary of Scherbak Ship Models.

- 2012 - Hamburg Maritime Museum obtained Scherbak 1:1250 scale models of Costa Concordia for their exposition "Desasters at sea".

 

 - Cunard Line bought our wooden model of ocean liner Franconia 1:600 scale for decoration of the Chart Room in their cruise ship Queen Victoria.

 

- Spanish travel agency UN MUNDO DE CRUCEROS purchased our models of Amsterdam, Carnival Conquest, Star Princess and Golden Princess for their offices in Madrid and Barcelona.

 

- RTM Star Center in Florida purchased our 1:900 models Voyager OTS and Diamond Princess for training officers of cruise ships. 

 

- WATER TRANSIT AUTHORITY (San Francisco Bay Area) ordered from Scherbak 102 models of their new Ferry which entered service in 2009 www.watertransit.org
